LandForm Situation Awareness Software

LandForm Clients

We at Rapid Imaging Software are very proud to serve our clients. Here are some of them.

Astronauts aboard the NASA X-38 will view LandForm® FlightVision™ situation awareness displays. LandForm is already used by engineers and astronauts to observe vehicle flight tests in real-time and 3 dimensions using LandForm. It will be the first spacecraft to fly with a Virtual Cockpit Window, developed using FlightVision. We appreciate the support of the X-38 program at Johnson Space Center, and their ideas to advance the state of the art. Most of all, we appreciate the honor of supporting one the most exciting projects in the space program.

Here is an F-18 of the MightyShrikes (VFA-94) from the USS Carl Vinson, where LandForm C3 is used for mission planning, having supported combat missions in the Arabian gulf, and elsewhere. LandForm has become a powerful tool for missions like FLIR prediction through the suggestions and feedback from combat aviators of the MightShrikes, and the Warhawks (VFA-97). Many thanks!

Boeing Commercial Airplane uses LandForm C3 to analyze and improve airsafety. Boeing Phantom Works is using LandForm for flight test data presentation. We thank them for their support.

US Army 1-101 Aviation Regiment (TAC OPS) Apache Pilots helped us fine tune LandForm to support combat rotorcraft mission planning. Please accept our thanks, and the hope that you will get to spend some time with your families soon.

NASA Dreyden Flight Research Center uses LandForm to watch flight tests in real-time. Here, an X-36 tailless fighter streaks across the Mojave Desert at DFRC.

The ARMY Yuma Proving Ground uses LandForm to analyze flight test data, to present quantitative visualization to their users, and to plan experiments. Thanks to these user's feedback LandForm has been validated in a variety of terrain, and also supports an even wider variety of geographic data formats.
