We are Rapid Imaging Software, Inc., a New Mexico corporation dedicated to producing premium quality software and information products. These products are a blend of high-performance graphics software and multimedia data about the natural world. RIS uses flight testing continuously to enhance its software products.  We are committed to certain principles including honesty, integrity, and respect for the dignity of individuals.  We are committed to building products that enhance life by facilitating safer flight and space exploration.

Corporate History

RIS was founded in 1984, to produce imaging software for personal computers. In 1995 we began formulating the LandForm™ product line, which permits users to fly through virtual terrain.  LandForm was quickly adopted by NASA, with whom we have worked extensively creating flight visualization tools used in flight testing the X-38 and other Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.  The LandForm product line has grown to reflect our role as the provider of cutting edge desktop flight visualization tools.

Our latest products, VisualFlight and SmartCam3D, are on their way to making flight and space travel safer for humankind.
